Walden Robert Cassotto allegedly adopted the name Bobby Darin after seeing a broken Chinese restaurant sign reading
'(MAN)DARIN DUCK'.
I suppose he was lucky he didn't come across a broken 'OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST' sign first...
Anyway, he was great and left us far too early, when in 1973, after being left with a weakened heart through being stricken with rheumatic fever as a child, Bobby sadly passed away at 37.
