Here are a couple of tracks from the latest Beach Boys album. Quite possibly my favourite release of this year. Just superb. You could do worse than purchase it...

366 Artists In 366 Days : Day 342 Number 25 Badfinger
I know it's an old cliché, but it's true. Badfinger
were arguably the most tragic band in music
history.
After years of being shat on by management,
Pete Ham hanged himself in 1975 after
learning that all his money had disappeared.
Tom Evans hanged himself eight years later.
So very sad.
They were tremendously gifted and wrote some
amazing songs.
One of the tracks on my funeral CD.
And, produced by the mighty Todd Rundgren...
Yep. They wrote this one...
I can't find some of my favourite Badfinger tunes on YouTube, including this one, but here is quite an interesting cover...

366 Artists In 366 Days : Day 341 Number 26 Australian Crawl
Hmmm, any similarity to some other, rather famous, intro...???
And some solo stuff...

366 Artists In 366 Days : Day 340 Number 27 Stevie Wonder
I think Stevie Wonder is the most beloved musician ever. I have never heard anyone say they didn't like him, and, 'I Just Called To Say I Love You' aside, have not really heard a bad word about him. Until a couple of years ago, that is. I mentioned this theory to a friend, who after some mulling over, decided that he in fact couldn't stand Stevie Wonder! So RikRok boy, I believe that you are the only person on earth who feels that way...
Well, of course he's included...!

366 Artists In 366 Days : Day 337 Number 30 Nick Drake
What a beautiful man.
I only became aware of Nick Drake when I moved to London in 1988 and began working at the Virgin Megastore. On display was the sleeve of Bryter Layter. I thought he was so gorgeous. Gorgeous, and a contemporary artist.
Unfortunately, I learned I was only half right...
