366 Artists In 366 Days : Day 29 Number 338 Matisyahu

I'm not a huge fan of reggae, but there are a couple of (other artists apart from Bob Marley) guys I quite like. One is the rather wonderful Pluto Shervington. Another is this fella, Matisyahu.
Long story, but I was gifted his massive tub of hoummus once. (Not a euphemism...)

366 Artists In 366 Days : Day 28 Number 339 Sparks

Wackiness and quirkiness at its best, here is Sparks...

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the wonderful Peter Cook...

Before they became Sparks, they were known as Halfnelson. And their debut album was produced by the mighty Todd Rundgren. Here is a track:

366 Artists In 366 Days : Day 27 Number 340 Blitzen Trapper

I can thank my friend Jane for introducing me to the delightful Blitzen Trapper.
A few years ago she gave me a CD and told me it was 'Me Friendly'.
And it so is.
If you like your music full of gorgeous guitars and lush harmonies, then look (and listen) no further...

366 Artists In 366 Days : Day 26 Number 341 Big Country

In my humble opinion, I think that Big Country are one of the most distinctive bands ever.
Guitars that sound like bagpipes. Who'd have thunk it?
Mark Whats-his-name is an amazing drummer too.

R.I.P. Stuart Adamson. There was a brief time during the mid-80s I thought you were quite possibly the most handsome man in pop...

366 Artists In 366 Days : Day 25 Number 342 Tracey Ullman

I love Tracey! Not only did she play a huge part in The Simpsons' 'career', she acted with Paul McCartney!
Twice!

This doesn't really have anything to do with Tracey's music career, but The Simpsons did get their start on her show, so I'm including it.
Thank you Tracey...
And this has nothing to do with Tracey's music career either.
But it's Hugh Laurie!!!

366 Artists In 366 Days : Day 24 Number 343 Megan Washington

I never really knew anything about Megan Washington until I was introduced to her at a party (#namedropperpartone).
She was lovely and delightfully bonkers and so I decided to check her out.
Very pleased I did too. She's fab.

I went along to the video shoot for 'Holy Moses'
